Appropriate PPE is the following:
Enclosed shoes, long sleeved shirt/jumper, jeans/trousers etc (preferably not track suit bottoms) and general clothing to keep warm and dry. As we are an SSAA affiliated club and their policy is not to wear any camouflage equipment on the range, we would prefer that nobody wears any cammo gear.
We will supply hearing protection (basic) and eye protection as well. However if any of your guests have the ear muff style hearing protection (headphone type) I recommend that they bring them as well. Some of the firearms when discharged are very loud and echo in the under cover area of the range.
My plan at the moment (it may change) is to split your group into two and commence firing different disciplines at the same time. We will probably conduct all of the firing on the one range,, allowing more control of the event. This is also a safety procedure.
We will give the group a safety briefing prior to commencement (possibly over a coffee & biscuit morning tea) on your arrival.
BBQ and Presentation Ceremony included at the completion of the shoot.
