Nick Chivers is a regular RC competitor at the Southern Districts Model Car Club (SDMCC).
Nick started with RAVSTASS in Stadium Division, where he was promoted to RAVSTASS Comrade Member in 2020 in recognition of his long contribution to Basketball and the RAVSTASS Leprechauns teams which competed in the SA Amateur Basketball League (SAABL).
In 2022, Nick became the inaugural member to be offered RAVSTASS Individual Athlete Support for this new endeavours in Track Division, where he has established himself as a RC Racer.
Nick's goal is to improve the consistency of his results, through a calculating approach that smooth is fast. We look forward to witnessing his steady progress into the higher class groups of the sport. "My motivation for this hobby is the enjoyment of racing, the people and the laughs," says Nick; adding that his goal is also to travel the state to country meets including Pt Lincoln and Whyalla.
